In spite of the fact that the Coolpix 5400 has many settings and an answer to most photographic wishes, I would have preferred a USB 2.0 interface on the camera. The LCD monitor has a higher resolution than his successor but the monitor has decreased to 1.5-inch. Unfortunately Nikon did not choose the option of an AF-supporting light which would be a help in dim lit conditions.
The general conclusion after one week of working with the Coolpix 5400 is very positive. The camera is compact, easy to carry around and offers a high quality image quality. The combination of image quality, many photographic settings and a compact body is rare! In short: the Nikon Coolpix 5400 is highly recommendable!
