2008 Mitsubishi Raider Review

The 2008 Mitsubishi Raider truck is available as an: extended cab LS V6 2WD M/T ($19,890), extended cab LS V6 2WD ($23,230), double cab LS V6 2WD ($24,005), double cab SE V8 2WD ($26,710), double cab LS V6 4WD ($26,855), and double cab LS V8 4WD ($28,445). The V6 engines are chain-driven 12-valve 3.7 liter units with 210 horsepower and overdrive. The V8 is a 4.7 liter, 16-valve engine with 235 horsepower. Estimated fuel consumption is 16 city, 22 highway for the LS V6 extended cab; 16/22 for the front-wheel drive LS V6 double cab (15/19 for the all-wheel drive version); and 15/20 on the LS V8 double cab SE.

Maximum towing capacity ranges from 2,950 to 6,500 lbs. The tailgate opening width on all models is 53.3 inches with a box length of 6.4 feet on the extended cab and 5.3 feet on the double cabs. Seating capacities are 2 to 3 front and 3 rear. Two front air bags with two-stage inflators and front passenger-seat sensors to detect the presence or absence of a passenger are standard.

The standard audio package on the 2008 Mitsubishi Raider is an AM/FM/CD/MP3 combo with front-mounted auxiliary audio input jack. A six-CD changer is available, as is a SIRIUS satellite radio with a six-month subscription.

A good addition to Mitsubishi's vehicle line up. This pick up can be modified to hit off road. Mud tires for trucks , body lift kit , etc..
