2007 Mercedes-Benz CL-Class Review

Redesigned for this model year, the 2008 Mercedes CL-Class models are the epitome of Mercedes's luxury style. The CL550 houses a powerful 382 horsepower, 5.5 liter, V8 engine with a seven-speed automatic transmission that includes the Mercedes-Benz "Touch Shift" manual gear selection technology. With its infrared-reflective glass, chrome exhaust tips, heated front seats that adjust in 14 different ways, and leather upholsterythe CL550 is a brilliant marriage of style and performance. The CL600 is equipped with a 510 horsepower, 5.5 liter, turbocharged V12 engine. A specially designed suspension system delivers exceptional ride control and comfort while the night viewing aids allow the driver to detect objects at a distance of up to 500 feet in near-complete darkness. The contoured front seats feature both heating and a ventilation system, and glass sunroof opens at the touch of the button, and also has tinted glass.

The 2008 Mercedes CL-Class coupes do about as well as expected when it comes to fuel efficiency. CL550 gets an estimated 15 mpg city and 22 highway and can achieve 0-60 mph in 5.4 seconds. The CL600 uses approximately 13 mpg city and 19 highway and can achieve 0-60 mph in 4.5 seconds.
