2007 GMC Envoy Review

The 2007 GMC Envoy has an MSRP ranging from $27,295 to $33,495. The base model SLE comes standard with equipment to handle the use of a trailer. The OnStar service is included and stability control is offered via the StabiliTrak system. Climate control extends over two zones. Disc brakes with ABS are present on all wheels. The standard upholstery is cloth with leather seating on the SLT. The standard audio combo is an AM/FM/CD unit with the SLT including audio controls on the steering wheel and a premium Bose system optional. Both are powered by a 4.2 liter I6 generating 291 horsepower.

The Denali version of the Envoy carries an MSRP of $35,525 to $37,725. The standard seats upholstered in leather are heated with leather wrap used on the steering wheel. Trim in the cabin is burl wood. The audio system is a premium Bose unit. Passengers enjoy power seat adjustment. Under the hood there's a 302 horsepwer, 5.3 liter V8 with active management of fuel.

All models of the 2007 GMC Envoy include running lights for daytime use. Occupants are protected by double stage air bags in the front with bags in the curtain position to protect against collision force to the side. Overall seating capacity is five with measurable cargo space of 80 cubic feet. Seating options in the SLE and SLT include bucket seats in the front that recline or a rear seat that functions on the 65/35 folding arrangement. In the rear of the vehicle an entertainment system for DVD playback can be mounted in the back side of the front head rest. This system includes the use of headphones that are both wireless and noise cancelling.
