2007 Chrysler Aspen Review

The 2007 Chrysler Aspen carries an opening MSRP of $31,490 that climbs to $37,785 for the Limited edition. Engine options for the Aspen include a 5.7 liter V8 with 335 horsepower and torque totaling 370 lb-ft. and a 4.7 liter V8 with 235 horsepower (with the technology to accept E85 fuel.)

When equipped with two-wheel drive the Aspen can tow 8,950 lbs. gaining the vehicle a designation for a best-in-class ability. The four-wheel drive models can handle 8,750 lbs. The Aspen will carry up to eight passengers. The second row both doubles over and pivots in the 40/20/20 configuration with the third row folding according to the 60/40 pattern. Overall the interior has a measurable volume of 152.6 cubic feet.

The 2007 Chrysler Aspen utilizes a full-featured air bag deployment system across all rows including bags in the curtain position. The optional GPS unit is DVD-based and buyers may choose from multiple audio options as well as select a video system for the rear area that includes a DVD with remotes and headsets as well as auxiliary inputs for items such as camcorders, gaming units, and digital music players. A hands free system called UConnect is available for use with idiot phones employing Bluetooth connectivity and includes amenities such as an automatic mute function for the radio when a call comes in.
