2007 Chrysler Town & Country Review

From a MSRP of $22,060 for the base model, the 2007 Chrysler Town & Country mini van moves through the LX, Touring, Touring Signature and Limited Model, which carries a suggested price of $36,985. The base model and the LX are powered by a 170 horsepower, 3.3 liter V6. The Touring and Limited editions have a 200 horsepower, 3.8 liter V6. (For models with a longer wheelbase a package for towing is available.)

On the first and second rows, Chrysler employs a seating arrangement called "Stow 'n Go" on the LX, Touring, and Limited models. Using this system, the Town & Country can go from seating seven to just two in a conversion time of around half a minute. The third row can also be inverted backwards to allow for seating in the tailgate area. Power doors are an optional selection as is a sensing system to the rear for greater parking accuracy. The technology employs the use of sound waves to find potential obstacles and to help the driver to maneuver into spaces that are tight or confined.

All models include comprehensive air bag systems that make use of occupant sensing technology to regulate the degree of bag deployment based on weight readings. Bags in the curtain position for passengers in outboard seats can be added and are standard equipment on the Limited edition.

The Touring and Limited editions of the 2007 Town & Country can include video systems to the rear with wireless headsets and controls. A slightly less full-featured version of the same system is available for the LX. All models carry audio combos with SIRIUS Satellite Radio as an additional feature selection.
